The decanters are used to retain all the floating solids, materials that could not be retain in the mechanical wastewater treatment process (such as screens, grit and sand catchers), but also for settle the organic materials from the water.
The shape and dimensions are very various, but they all have some very important aspect in common, such as: the even distribution of the water, the sludge settling zone, transferring the settled sludge from the trough.
The most commonly used decanters are the longitudinal or circular concrete tanks.
Longitudinal scraper bridges for decanters
PRL scraper bridges are used to transfer sludge/ floating materials from the longitudinal decanters from industrial and municipal wastewater treatment plants, grit and sand catchers etc.
These equipments are delivered in 2 options:

The equipment is fully automated (with possibility to manually interfere); it does not need any operation staff.
The dimension of the equipment is adapted to the dimension of the concrete tank.

Scraper bridges for circular decanters
The PRC scraper bridges series are used to transfer the settled sludge to the evacuation trough. The scraping system which is made of stainless steel, but also rubber is designed to transfer the sludge to the evacuation trough with high efficiency and low power consumption.
Depending on the position of the geared motor the bridge can be
The bridge speed it is designed so that the scraper blades does not disturb the settled sludge. In the same time the speed of movement ensures maximum efficiency of the cleaning of the bottom: the sludge does not have time to thicken on the bottom of the tank.
The scraper bridge is also equipped with surface scraper (foam, floating materials) which has the role to collect the foam and the floating materials to the weir. The bridge does not require operating staff. The maintenance of the equipment it is reduced to checking the drive system (checking the geared motor), also checking the scraping system of the bridge.
The bridge is delivered with its own control panel, which assures the automating function of the bridge.
